In Loving Memory of Esli

We remember Esli, a bright and brave young soul whose laughter and light touched everyone who met her. Esli and her family called Yellow Door home for nearly a year during her courageous battle with Ewing sarcoma — a journey she faced with strength and spirit far beyond her years.

Esli’s presence filled every room with color and energy. She had a love for life’s simple joys — Chick-fil-A nuggets, blue raspberry freezies, and shopping trips to Ulta and Sephora that brought out her sparkle inside and out. Smart, sassy, and wonderfully honest, she had a way of making people smile and see the world a little brighter.

Though her time with us was far too short, Esli’s light continues to shine through the love she shared and the memories she left behind. Her courage reminds us every day why Yellow Door exists — to be a place of comfort, hope, and togetherness for families walking through the hardest of journeys.
