Meet Riley
Riley stayed with us a brief time before continuing her treatment for cancer at Sibley Memorial Hospital in DC.
Riley (10 years old) joined the Yellow Door Fanily in January 2025 when she underwent suregery to remove a cancerous tumor at UVA Children’s.
She was staying with her family at Tommy’s Place during her recovery when doctors determined that she should continue chemo and radiation therapies at Sibley Memorial Hospital in DC. She may need to return to UVA for follow up care, and Yellow Door will have a home away from home for Riley and her family.
