Meet Cody
Cody was born with three complex heart issues and required a heart transplant at 16 years old.
Cody is a resilient 16-year-old who has faced a lifetime of complex heart conditions, including Double Inlet Left Ventricle, Hypoplastic Right Heart Syndrome, and L-TGA. After years of surgeries and challenges, Cody received the ultimate gift—a donor heart—in July 2025.
He’s currently recovering and filled with gratitude for this second chance at life. Cody looks forward to continuing his healing journey with his mom at Maggie’s Place, one of the Yellow Door Foundation’s comforting apartments. His strength, gratitude, and hope inspire everyone who meets him.
