Tayson required surgery right after birth to fix his heart.
Born on June 5, 2025 with a complex congenital heart condition, Tayson needed surgery right after birth and spent his first few months in the hospital. Now, this brave baby is heading to Starr Hill—Yellow Door’s newest apartment—where he’ll continue healing surrounded by the love of his parents, four older siblings, and grandparents.
Tayson’s family, from Southwest Virginia, was the very first to stay at Starr Hill, finding comfort and connection in a place built for hope and healing. With every cuddle and heartbeat, Tayson is growing stronger each day.
