Meet LaineeJo
Through her grandparents’ involvement, they have long helped fund an apartment each year for families in need—never imagining that one day their own family would be the one relying on that same support.
LaineeJo made her arrival a little early at 33 weeks and 3 days and is spending her first weeks of life in the UVA NICU. Born premature, she is working hard each day to learn how to breathe on her own and take her feeds by mouth, supported by an exceptional medical team dedicated to helping her grow stronger.
While LaineeJo continues to make steady progress, the Yellow Door Foundation has provided her parents with a place to stay close to her, ensuring they never have to be far from her side. Their proximity allows them to be present for every milestone—celebrating the small victories, offering constant comfort, and surrounding her with love and prayer.
Her family is deeply grateful for the many people who have supported them during this unexpected journey. The Yellow Door Foundation holds a particularly special place in their hearts; through her grandparents’ involvement, they have long helped fund an apartment each year for families in need—never imagining that one day their own family would be the one relying on that same support.
