Meet Adam
Adam came to Yellow Door at seven weeks old after a stage 4 cancer diagnosis.
In August 2024 we welcomed seven-week-old Adam to Maggie’s Place.
Adam is from Rural Retreat in SW Virginia. After a normal pregancy, Adam was born with pulmonary hypertension and cardiac failure. Following 15 days in the NICU, 6 on life support, he beat the odds and made it home.
Then, at 7 weeks old, he was diagnosed with stage 4 neuroblastoma. His parents and older sisters stayed with Yellow Door during his 8 rounds of chemotherapy. He is always smiling and giggling, especially when snuggling with his big sisters.
