Meet Arabella

Arabella was born with hypoplastic left heart syndrome but thankfully won’t require a heart transplant.  She underwent her first of three required open-heart surgeries at only a few days old.  She will require additional surgeries at four months and four years old.  Her mom, grandma, aunt and three-old sister, Tillie (pictured on left) who has special needs, stayed in the Nest while Arabella remained in the hospital.  The family has home away from home until she is strong enough to return home to Chesapeake, VA.
