Meet John
John’s heart issues were locked down quickly and was released sooner than expected!
John came to UVA Health Children’s as a newborn with heart issues that needed to be addressed by the cardio team there.
Within just a few days of inpatient treatment, he began doing really well and was unexpectedly released! He went home where he will continue to be monitored at CHKD. His mom says, “I’ve learned a lot about families going through the struggle of illnesses and hospitalizations. The amount of support UVA and Yellow Door provided was simply amazing!”
