Meet Mazee
Little Mazee was just over two pounds at birth and we were thankful we were able help out a previous Yellow Door family in need.
Mazee Pearl was just 2 lbs., 3 oz at birth. A smiling Miss Mazee was just shy of 5 lbs when she was able to head home healthy after 2 months at UVA Children’s hospital. Mazee is the little sister of Rayray who was diagnosed with stage 4 high- risk neuroblastoma at 21 months and thankfully pronounced cured at 8, just over a year ago! Rayray is thrilled to have Mazee home! We were happy to step outside our lane to help a member of our Yellow Door family! As Grandma Donna put it, “Thank you so much for keeping our family together.”
UPDATE: We got an update from mom in August 2023 and learned Mazee had her first day of school on August 10. She loves puzzles and using big words. She is a healthy and happy three-year old!
