Meet Xion
Xion was born with congenital heart defects requiring surgery shortly after birth.
Fox Hollow welcomed Xion’s family, including big sister Icelyn, when Baby Xion made his debut early.
Doctors diagnosed him in utero with congenital heart defects. The family was prepared to move from Chesapeake to Charlottesville so he could be treated at UVA Children’s. However, his earlier than expected arrival moved up the timeline.
Xion underwent surgery in mid-December 2022 for right atrial reduction, tricuspid valve repair.
Mom is recovered at Fox Hollow and was able to visit the hospital to see Xion. Grandma helped with Icelyn at their new home away from home while Dad, serving in the US Army and stationed in Georgia, visited on the weekends.
