Meet Zander
Zander was diagnosed with luekemia at a routine doctor check-up.
Zander is just three months old, but he’s already showing the world what strength looks like. Diagnosed with leukemia during a routine pediatric check-up, Zander is now undergoing treatment while staying at The Valley House with his devoted mom and dad.
Despite everything he’s facing, Zander’s days are full of energy and love. He adores laying on his playmat and kicking his light-up piano, shaking his wrist and foot rattles to make as much noise as possible, and dancing in his daddy’s arms. One of his favorite things? Watching Animal Planet—especially the lion roars!
Back home, his nursery is decked out in black and gold, ready for this future Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Zander may be little, but his joy is big—and with his family by his side and a caring place to call home during treatment, he’s meeting each day with a smile (and plenty of wiggles).
