VOGA Apartment
Opened in September 2018
In honor of all Virginia Oil and Gas Association (VOGA) has done to help Yellow Door Foundation and our families, our Board voted to name one of our apartments the VOGA Apartment.
Since opening its doors, the VOGA Apartment has served as the home of 18 families. It has seen its share of good news and bad news, celebrations, and family reunions. Through it all, it acts as a safe haven for both long and short recoveries.
Current Resident
Atticus
Three-year-old Atticus, his one-year-old brother, Zaxton, and parents came to stay at VOGA Apartment.
Atticus has a particularly challenging brain tumor that came back before the family travled to Charlottesville from Winchester for treatement. Dad stays with the boys while mom works at home with frequent visits.
