This week at Yellow Door we welcome Thomas and his grandparents to our Dreamer House.
Thomas is 11 and will be at UVA Children’s Hospital for several months fighting cancer. Sadly, he has been sidetracked with pneumonia, but is doing better. His grandma said “his whole demeanor changed when he got back to the apartment and onto his beanbag lounger! Plus, he finally agreed to eat something.”
Thomas’ mother Mia, who is also undergoing cancer treatment, visits on weekends.
Please keep this wonderful family in your thoughts and prayers.
